*Week 23*

Anddddddd week 23!

Seriously, time is flying by. I feel like we have so much to do! As soon as we have an open weekend, it's go time with cleaning out the spare room and making it into Camryn's room. We are simply keeping all the crib bedding and paint/murals/decorations that we used for Camryn and are using it for this baby. We are planning on moving to Powhatan to a better school district for our kiddos next year, so why stress over new crib bedding when we will just be moving next year?! Plus... getting Cam new stuff will make her feel 'grown up' and included. So it works out!

Friday night, Mom offered to keep Camryn so Daryl and I could have a date night. I took her to mom and dad's, and Daryl and I went and saw Fast and Furious 6. We got home sort of late, so we went on to bed. I had to work the next day, and, dun dun dunnnnn. I had to float to third floor, med-surg. UGH! I worked like a dog. So busy, old people are not my forte. Eeeeek. We ended up getting a patient around 4, so luckily I got to leave and worked in pediatrics Sunday, which was Mother's Day. My sweet hubs and baby girl brought me lunch and some iTunes gift cards to work! Love them <3 But, needless to say, I was EXHAUSTED by the end of the day. SWOLLEN, and EXHAUSTED. Yup, this is about the time I started to really swell up with Camryn, too. Such is life, so worth it!

I kind of just rested and relaxed Monday and Tuesday, and developed one hell of an allergy problem!! I think I sneezed 100 times Tuesday.. I never had allergy problems but apparently this year it's REALLY bad and everyone is having issues. I know my little family is. Ugh. Hate allergies!! Poor Cam takes Zyrtec every morning and Benadryl and an Albuterol treatment every night... the only way my poor baby can sleep!! Can't wait for allergy season to be over!! Anyway... then I worked Wednesday night. It was a good night, but I was tired and ready to go by next morning. I got home and slept until about 1, then got up and showered and picked up Camryn and we went out to mom and dad's because Kristen and Finn were there! They came to visit for a week, and we spend lots of time with them. Cam loves her cousins!

So, that's about it for this past week (week 22). Stay tuned for week 23... It's going to be all about my little missy's dance recital!!! <3

*Week 22*

Week 22! Week 22! Here we are, at week 22!

Time is seriously just flying by. This past week, we found out that our second and final baby would be a GIRL and we are beyond excited to give Camryn a baby sister! I know in the last post I seemed all happy and hunky dory with everything going on, but here is the truth... Yes, I am BEYOND ECSTATIC about our new addition and the whole pregnancy, and cannot wait till she is here... But the thing about finding out about it, was I felt like alot of people whom I am close with didn't care to ask how the anatomy scan went. Looking back, yes, I blame it on the hormones and being sensitive. HaHa. But I seriously cried ALL DAY on Friday. Like, allllll day. It seemed like, if people even asked, they kept asking "Is it a boy?! Is it a boy?!" and I felt like we were, in a sense, 'letting people down' because it isn't a boy. No one cared to ask how the anatomy scan part went... which really is the most important part of that Ultrasound... Well, so far, everything is ok. They couldn't get a great shot of the inflow and outflow of the blood in the heart, which upset me. The doctor said that there are for sure four chambers, so she felt confident, but when we go back at 24wks for my check-up, she wants to do a follow up US to see the heart again. STILL... I am uneasy. Just because, I am in the medical field, and alot of times you keep things on the downlow to not worry patients, so I just worry. Also, the whole 'low-lying placenta' ordeal still makes me nervous. So, I am just trying to take it easy and not worry about it unless my doctor worries! And I hope I never have a 'hormonal' day like that again! That was awful :(

Saturday was Daryl's little graduation get-together. He had his best friends come to my parent's house and celebrate his graduating. It was nice. We had a really great time and he/we have some good friends in them. It was a beautiful day. The only downfall... I swelled!! My feet got pretty big by the end of the night. Soooo it begins!!

I had my Pediatric Advanced Life Support class on Wednesday and passed with no problem. I then was supposed to work Thursday night, but was put on call because we had no patients... and that's ok, because I felt pretty worn out that day. Other than that, no other issues. We are just moving right along!! <3

**Stretch marks? Yeah... I found a new one yesterday :(

**Sleep: Mehhhh.

**Best moment this week: Just feeling more movements... and Camryn rubbing my belly out of nowhere <3 Be still my heart!!

**Movement: Yup, and lots of it!!

*Week 21*

And week 21... Time is flyinggggggg by!!!

So this past week, I went and got my hair cut again... I forgot how annoying short hair can be with having to deal with keeping it trimmed up and all. Blahhhh. Then on Friday night, I wanted breakfast for dinner and a big 'ol ice cream sundae! Soooo, hubby took me to breakfast at one place and then another place for ice cream dessert. HaHa. Camryn enjoyed that, too! Then Saturday morning, Cam had her dance pictures! Oh my gosh, I am getting SO EXCITED for her dance recital! We put a sweet message in the program for her and my parents ordered her a dance bear through her dance company. Daryl is going to get her roses that night... it's going to be so great!! Cannot wait!! Later that day, I volunteered at the YMCA to represent my hospital for the 'Children's Day at the Y', and Daryl took Camryn to it to just have fun. It was nice!! Then, Sunday, we cleaned out Miss Cam's closet. Another step closer to baby!! Camryn is going to take the spare room and make it into her 'big girl room' and baby will be in the nursery room. That night, we went to my parent's house to hang out and had dinner. Nice, relaxing family weekend. <3

So I worked two night shifts this week, and baby was ROLLING alot...And I mean rolling. Up and down... almost gave me a feeling that my stomach was 'dropping' out... it's hard to explain. I don't recall this with Camryn?? HaHa. I didn't feel well Wednesday after working the two night shifts, so I slept alot and Daryl picked up Camryn... We got a letter from her teachers that she wasn't good at school, being disruptive and disobedient. We got really upset and talked to her for a long time, and she seemed to understand what we were saying. The next day I talked to her teacher and told her I thought we took care of it... and to let me know. My dad picked up Cam that day from school and the teachers wrote a letter explaining that she did great that day!! Yay!!!

And Thursday... THE BIG DAY!!! Our anatomy scan/gender reveal!!! The anatomy scan went great for the most part... They couldn't get a great view of the heart because our baby wouldn't sit still haha... So we have to go back at 24wks for a follow up scan, which I am ok with!! Another way to see baby, so no big deal :) Ok Ok... and, it is a GIRL!!!! A sister for Camryn! We are thrilled!! The only thing the doctor told me was that my placenta is sitting right up next to the cervix, so we have to keep an eye on it and make sure it moves up as the uterus continues to grow, because if it stays put, it could be a placenta previa and that could cause bleeding and more problems, and a c-section would be the only option... and I really don't want that. So we will see how it goes!!! Otherwise, my BP was decent, I suppose. Still just trying to take it easy.

Well, see you all next week! <3

That sweet baby girl <3
