*31 Weeks*

And 31 weeks... hereeee we go!!

I know I say it every week, but time really is flying on by. I can't believe that we are getting into the '30s' weeks now. I tell Daryl almost every day that we are getting so close. It's crazy!!

So this past week was actually quite eventful.. except for the weekend... I worked Saturday and Sunday with a cool nurse, so it was a good weekend. Not too busy, and what's even better, is the swelling is keeping itself at bay. It's really not too bad yet, which is NICE. My hips continue to hurt pretty bad, but I manage :) While I was at work, Daryl bought some Dreft baby detergent and washed ALL the baby clothes from age Newborn to 6 months, folded, and hung them up. So awesome!! They smell soooo good and I cannot believe it was time to have to do that... CRAZY!! Random note: At work all weekend, I CRAVED chicken salad... so weird. But I did. And I made some during the week and ate the whole batch. HaHa.

Now Monday was interesting. I relaxed during the day and straightened up the house some, then went and picked up Cam from school. Daryl and I were planning on meeting at the grocery store to do some grocery shopping, so Cam and I killed some time and got milkshakes before :) ...here's the big part... It was super, super crowded and Camryn decided to throw what I believe to be the biggest tantrum of her life (so far)... While Daryl was holding her, I decided to finish the shopping quickly, and as I got something out of the freezer section, I turned and walked back to the cart and slipped and fell on something wet on the floor (no, there was no caution sign). I landed on all fours and when I fell, my back arched really bad because of the weight of my belly. It hurt, and scared me to death. I got up, and instead of being cool about it, I stomped away and started bawling crying. Daryl was clueless of what to do because Cam was still being difficult and I was crying... poor thing. Well, we decided to go home and take it easy, but I texted a fellow nurse, who is also an OB nurse, and she told me that I needed to go get monitored to be sure everything is ok...sooooo I did. Mom met us at the hospital at 9pm to get Cam and take her home and I was monitored in OB for about 4hrs. Everything was fine, but boy we were so tired the next day. And my back hurt really bad, but I rested up and it eased up. But talk about scary :(

So, Camryn has decided to get back into having pee accidents during naptime at school and throwing horrible tantrums. I talked to Daryl one night this week and we decided that we are going to try to watch the level of our voices when we get irritated with her and remind each other often to RELAX some and just remember... she is only 3, and she knows big changes are coming, as if things aren't already changing some. She's been good I think, but can be VERY honoury when she wants to be. I talked to her for a while and she said she understood 'no more yelling' and to be patient and talk to us if she wants something... because let's face it, once baby arrives, things can get hectic enough without yelling and getting aggravated easily. So that's something the three of us have been working on and it seems to be working well :)

Wednesday morning was our 30wk doctor's appt. Daryl went on to work because my mom asked if she could go to one appt with me and see an Ultrasound, so she went with me this time. Baby girl is BEAUTIFUL and active and big haha. She is measuring at 4lbs10oz right now!! Her heart rate was 148. They said everything looks great! I had to see a different doctor because my doctor was on vacation, but I know that's common at this point because my appts are every two weeks now... no biggie. I went and had a pedicure afterwards then went home and napped.

Thursday I was just really sleepy all day, so I slept. ALOT. And I don't feel guilty about that one bit. HaHa. I got put on call for work that night, which was ok. Every once in a while, that's nice :)

See you all next week!!

*Week 30*

Week 30!!!

So this past week we went on vacation!! We went to the mountains, to Massanutten, like we do every year, with my parents, and had a great, relaxing time.

We left Friday morning and headed up there. We stopped at Carter Mountain and bought some freshly picked peaches and nectarines and then continued on our way. Little did we know, our Camryn is a HUGE fan on nectarines :) I started to feel bad after a few hours and realized that the Tdap vaccine I received caused me to feel bad. I laid down and napped once we arrived and took Tylenol. It definitely helped and I felt better the next day.

We realized that Camryn is FEARLESS in the pool. She's a water baby... so that means it's time for swimming lessons. I, however, felt WEIGHTLESS in the pool, and that was AWESOME! Until I got out... then it was like sumo wrestler Bonnie... It's amazing, the difference you feel?!

Camryn LOVED the hottub <3

So I craved sweets, all week long. Baby girl liked them, too, because she kicked ALL. WEEK. LONG. ALL. THE. TIME. Everyone, including my dad, got to feel her kick. She's getting BIG and STRONG!! HeHe I love it!!

Daryl and my dad golfed alot and had a blast. They took a day off and we all went to the Water Park and let Cam play. I didn't swim, but just watched and thoroughly enjoyed that. She had a blast, and I think Daryl did, as well :)

Everything was going fine, even though my sleep was about non-existent, until Thursday morning, when I noticed that my urine was a slight pinkish color and I spotted some.. SCARED ME TO DEATH. I waited it out, because it wasn't alot, but when it was still there come Friday morning, I called my OB doc and she suggested I visit an urgent care to have a urine test done, as she suspected a UTI. My thoughts: kidney stone, because it's the same symptoms I had when I got my stone last year. BUT... Daryl insisted we head to Lynchburg since we were going home that day anyway and have me seen. They did a urine test and declared a UTI. I got x3 days of Amoxicillin and was on my way. I'm still not convinced it's not the beginnings of a stone, but time will tell. The upside: My BP was 128/74. NICE!!

Me after we got home from vacation, just relaxing...

*Week 29*

Week 29!!!

So, wow. This past week was so super busy, it, yet again, flew on by!!

Friday morning, I got up super early and met up with mom and went to Richmond where we bought our car and had them detail it and put the ProPak on it. It took about 8hrs, and we had a rental car for the time being, We went and visited MawMaw and had lunch. It was a nice day, and I enjoyed it, but boy oh boy was I SWOLLEN afterwards!! My feet were like balloons! I got home that night and Daryl insisted I put my feet up, b/c guess what... I worked ALL WEEKEND. Saturday and Sunday, all day both days. It was going ok until about noon on Sunday, when I began to get a bad headache and feel just 'off'.' I made it through the day and went home and celebrated Father's Day with my sweet family (Cam made Daryl a sweet gift from school and he teared up!! It was so sweet). I luckily got put on call Monday night and got to rest more, which was nice.

I got my haircut and colored again on Wednesday, and then went and picked up my Cam from school during her naptime (her teachers had told us that she was coughing alot Tuesday), and that night was pretty hard. She was up most of the night coughing, so we gave her some medicine to help her. She gets into these little coughing fits sometimes and they're so terrible. Luckily, we go this one under control and she slept ok for a few hours. Being up with a sick kiddo makes this pregnant mama super sleepy!!!

On a great note, my BP has been GREAT. Staying under the max that my ob doc told me if needs to be.

Thursday morning was the big, dreaded appointment!! I had my glucose test. I told Daryl to go on to work and I went alone, because seriously, he didn't need to sit with me for an hour while that nasty red drink sat in my stomach and made me nauseated haha. But, I PASSED!!! I got my Tdap shot as well. Afterwards, I headed back to Farmville and met up with Daryl and we had a nice little date lunch at Macado's. Then I had a two hour staff meeting, following with picking up Camryn and taking her to gymnastics. Then we headed home and had dinner and packed for vacation. PHEW. Talk about an exhausting day!!!

Next week we go on vacation!!! Come back to hear all about it!! <3

*28 weeks*

28 weeks... Time just continues to fly by!! So hard to believe<3

So this week was mine and Daryl's FIVE YEAR wedding anniversary! We wanted to do something fun, and wanted to include Camryn, so we decided to go to Holliday Lake for the day on Saturday, about thirty minutes from our house. We had a BLAST!! While they played in the water most of the time, I saw my preggo behind in the chair under the umbrella on the sand, where I lathered myself in suntan lotion and drank water... yet, I STILL swelled, BAD. It was one of those "put your feet up" kinda of evenings,,, and my amazing hubby moved the crib into the nursery!! It continues to all come along!!

So the rest of the week, after that, just kind of zoomed on by. One awesome thing that happened was that Camryn felt her baby sister kick. Her little eyes just lit up and she smiled so big. Made my heart melt <3

I am continuing to wear my glasses more because my eyes are just so incredibly dry. It's so annoying! I worked Monday night and slept alot Tuesday, per the usual. Well, 'slept', if that's what ya call it. HaHa. Not happening much these days with bathroom trips and my hips hurting so bad.

I have become OBSESSED with the show The Walking Dead. I didn't think I would ever like a show like that, but it's addicting. 4 SEASONS in two weeks... pathetic, Bon.

Wednesday, Daryl went to the doctor because he's been having trouble with choking/swallowing when he eats certain foods. The NP told him that she thinks he has severe GERD and started him on Protonix to see how he does. He will follow up in a month, so I will update on that soon.

Other than that, I don't have much else to update on!! I will be writing again for next week soon!! Love you all!!

*Week 27*

WEEK 27.... SUCH A BIG WEEK!!!
We are officially at the beginning of the third trimester!!! Wow, already?!?!?!

So, Friday morning I went and treated my myself to a pedicure. I don't do that too often, so it was very relaxing. I enjoyed the little massage chair because I had a back spasm Thursday and it helped ease some of the tension from it. I grabbed a few goodies for Daryl for his birthday and then headed home. That night, I volunteered at the First Friday's event that Farmville puts on during the summer. I sat with a co-worker at the Centra booth to represent our hospital. Daryl brought Camryn and let her run around and jump in the bounce house with all of the other kids and she had a blast. He enjoyed listening to the live band, too.

Saturday and Sunday I worked all day both days... got my hours in!! It wasn't bad and the swelling really hasn't gotten bad yet. I am still wearing my normal work shoes and all... I have more lower back and hip pain this pregnancy but the swelling isn't too bad. My BP at work was 138/76 at work, so I was ok with that. Sunday night, Camryn and I gave Daryl his bday present.. some golf shirts and a work shirt and socks. He was super excited! My parents gave him a Reese's cake (which he loved) and a $100 gift card to get his golf pass at Massanutten for when we go on vacation!! He was astonished... but what can they say?! They love him and are super excited for vacation! <3

Then came the not so fun part of this week... at about midnight Sunday night, I awoke to Camryn making a strange gurgling noise... She was asleep in her toddler bed one minute, and when I heard that, I jumped out of bed and flipped on the lights... poor girl was throwing up. She started crying, but we soothed her and I took her to give her a quick bath and change her clothes while Daryl threw her blankets in the wash. She slept with us the rest of the night and got sick quite a few times. She couldn't keep much down that morning but by that night was ok. She caught some sort of 24hr bug... So glad she felt better quick. My poor baby. :(

So then I worked Tuesday night and was worried because I wasn't feeling the baby move. I tried to stay calm, but she just wasn't being active. Scared me, but I ate some trail mix with M&Ms in it and then BAM!! She was all over the place. Sheeeeeeew!!

Thursday I had an eye appt... they now take your BP at these appts and it was 127/85. I was super happy about that! My eye prescription didn't change, but pregnancy has caused my eyes to be really dry and blurry, so contacts are hard to wear. I will be wearing my NEW GLASSES more often once they come in! :) We put some of Cam's furniture together that night and love it.... IT'S GETTING REAL!! Then throughout the night, I had BAD sciatica on the left side. I couldn't get comfortable no matter what I did. It was kinda of miserable. But, worth it for a healthy baby!! <3

That's about it for the week.. I will try to be more diligent in blogging on time the rest of the pregnancy!!! Love you all!!

*Week 26*

Weeeeeeeek 26!! Seriously, time is flying by. Life happens, and I keep getting so far behind on my blog posts. Sorry about that!!

So, this past week was a good one!! Even though I worked Wednesday night shift, slept four hours and then had a doctor's appt in Lynchburg and was exhausted, I was asked and agreed to pick up 7hrs of a day shift on Friday. I lost hours Sunday from being on call, so I didn't mind helping out and not using so much PTO. It went by fast and I picked up my Cam and took her to her dentist's appt, which she did GREAT at!!! Had dinner with mom and headed home for a quiet night.

Saturday was our big day... we decided to go do our registry! We met up with Mom and she took Camryn to visit my grandparents, then off we went. We only registered at abies R Us, because honestly, there really isn't that much we REALLY need. A few semi-big things, but I am sure our families want to do something nice, so in reality... mainly diapers and wipes!! HaHa We then had lunch at Johnny Rockets, but I couldn't eat much because I am at the point where I get full, very fast!! We took Cam to the Children's Museum, which she LOVED. We had a great day, but it was full of being on my feet and I got tired and swollen, pretty quick. Ergo, Daryl said it was time to go home, and Cam threw a fit.. then she was asleep before we left the parking lot! HaHa. But what a great day <3

Sunday, we were all really tired, so we rested alot. Daryl cut the grass and decided it'd be fun to start painting Cam's room... PURPLE!!
She asked for it, so he said he would do it. It looked so pretty!

The rest of the week was just kinda meh. I was having some strange pregnancy dreams... One involved bleeding, which scared me to death. I didn't sleep good the rest of the night, needless to say. Also, a very weird one involved baby hands sticking through the skin in my tummy... sooooo weird?! I know they're common in pregnancy, but seriously??

Camryn started gymnastics Thursday night and LOVED it.
She's such a little athlete and I love it.<3

So really, that's all for the week. Seems like not much goes on but it's hard to remember everything we do. Time is flying by, and this little missy will be here before we know it. Just trying to value every moment, as I know this is my last pregnancy and the last time I get to feel the amazing movements inside of me. It's truly amazing.

*Week 25*

So let'say it loud... 25 WEEKS!!!

 ^^^In my PJ's^^

\/ \/ \/ Ready for work! \/ \/ \/

So I worked the weekend during week 25, and it was a doozy. We ended up sending home all of our patient, and were sent home around 4:30. I was on call all day Sunday, and slept... ALOT. I was exhausted. I think little missy was doing her thang and growing alot that day... Daryl cleaned alot and shampooed the carpet in the spare room to get it ready to be Camryn's room. He is working so hard to get it ready and I am so grateful<3 Monday was Memorial Day, and once again we all just stayed home and hung out. Cam has been doing somewhat better with listening, so it's getting easier. But yet again, I had a NICE nap while snuggling with my girl :)

So, Daryl and I struggled with the decision to do a registry for our second baby girl. We asked around and EVERYONE said to absolutely do one. It's been 4 years since we were pregnant and alot has changed, stuff has gotten old. We simply need some new things. Only about 4 things would be over $100... the rest are small things we need, like bibs, burp cloths, bottle nipples, etc. So, we will spread the word once we get around to doing that!

So, like I mentioned above, I slept alot this week... I really think baby was going through a growth spurt. She was pleasantly active but I was TIRED. So, I embraced my alone time and slept. Growing a human is hard work!! :)

Then... DUN DUN DUN!! Thursday we had a doctor's appt (my 24wk appt). Most of my appointments are falling at almost a week late this pregnancy, but that's ok. I am staying on track at every 4 wks, but soon we will be at every 2... can you believe that?!... Anyway, this was our follow up US appointment from 20weeks, to check baby's heart and my placenta placement. I found out that even though this is a follow up, I still have to pay out of pocket again for the US... Another $150. Daryl just sighed and said 'Babe, it has to be done. We will be fine', He's very supportive and that's so important to me. Atleast we will meet my deductible by the time baby is born!! haha So... her heart is perfect. She was trying to be stubborn again but the ultrasound tech had me maneuver myself so that she could get a different angle and she got great views. WE ARE FINE!! <<Sighs of relief>>. Now, my placenta hasn't moved. Still close to the cervix, so my doc wants me to do ultrasounds at 30wks and 36wks, as well. It's fine... we have to monitor this, so we have no choice. She was serious and said she highly recommends it, so we will do it. My BP was good... 130/82, I believe. NOT BAD FOR ME!! My next appointment is the day before our vacation, Thurs, June 25, at 0900... the dreaded glucose testing. We are moving right along, though!! And below are some of our ultrasound pics from this week. Enjoy!!

The top picture was a 'quick glance' of a 3d view... she is looking to the right. Her ear is the easiest body part to see, so that may help.

The bottom picture is her sweet little foot.<3
